Automotive Voice Assistant Provider Cerence Beats March-Quarter Targets

Cerence (CRNC), a provider of in-car voice assistant technology, on Monday beat Wall Street’s targets for its fiscal second quarter. CRNC stock was not active in early trading.


The Burlington, Mass.-based company earned an adjusted 69 cents a share on sales of $98.7 million in the quarter ended March 31. Analysts expected Cerence earnings of 52 cents a share on sales of $93.4 million. In the year-earlier period, Cerence earnings were 44 cents a share on sales of $86.8 million.

CRNC stock was not active in premarket trading on the stock market today. On Friday, CRNC stock rose 0.7% to 89.42.

CRNC stock hit an all-time high of 139 on Feb. 16 before the tech stock sell-off.
