Celebs such as Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and Phillip Schofield have come out in force to show support for the England Men’s team ahead of their clash with Italy at the Euro 2020 final later today.

The semi-final which saw England triumph 2-1 against Denmark was a star-studded affair with the likes of Piers Morgan, James Corden and David Beckham in the crowd cheering them on. Even Oscar-winning singer Adele tuned in from the sofa, sharing her celebrations on social media.

Now expectation is high as the nation hopes for manager Gareth Southgate and his players to bring home the trophy, with even the Queen writing a letter to wish them luck.

Celebrities have voiced their messages of support before the final takes place at Wembley Stadium.

Singer Craig David cheered on the team in a video for ITV News, saying: ‘I just wanna wish the England team all the best for the game coming up and to you Gareth Southgate for being such a class act. You’ve put an amazing group of young men together who are playing their hearts out for you, the whole country. It’s coming home. Love you.’

The Nevers star James Norton added: ‘Our little island, we’ve had a rough couple of years so, whatever happens it’s gonna be fantastic, it’s already a victory but it would be wonderful to bring it home finally.’

Singer Rick Astley said: ‘Born in 1966, come on England, you can do it, we’ve been waiting. Three Lions. Come on.’

Pop star Natasha Hamilton, from the girl group Atomic Kitten, sang a line from their Euro 2020 spin on their track Whole Again, and told the team: ‘Hi boys, it’s Natasha here, just a little message to say we’re wishing you the best of luck, we know you’re going to do it because “football’s coming home again”.’

Simon added: ‘This is the best boost the country can have right now — good luck tonight.’

Former glamour model Katie said: ‘Come on lads, you can bring it home, England — we’ve got this.’

An excited Phillip Schofield said: ‘To our squad, thank you for being the lift we needed. You have transformed the mood of the country and given us something to celebrate that is priceless. Bring it home, boys.’

England v Italy in the Euro 2020 final kicks off at 8pm tonight at Wembley and is available to watch on BBC One and ITV.
