Kim Kardashian has no plans to drop West from her last name after her divorce from Kanye West is finalized.

Following reports her ex, 44, has filed paperwork to change his name to Ye, People magazine claimed the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 40, won’t be making any changes to her own moniker.

A source told the publication: ‘Although Kanye often has creative ideas that Kim appreciates, he also often changes his mind. He might like Ye now, but it’s hard to know if he will in the future.

‘All the kids have the last name West, so Kim is keeping it as is. Kanye hasn’t asked her to change it either.’

Kim and Kanye began dating in 2012 after a decade of friendship and got married two years later.

The two share four children: daughters North, eight, and Chicago, three, plus sons Saint, five, and two-year-old, Psalm.

The showbiz world was rocked when Kim filed for divorce back in February after six years of marriage.

Things got even more eyebrow-raising on Thursday when the former couple appeared to recreate their wedding at the third listening party for the rapper’s long-delayed album, Donda.

After previously supporting her ex from the stands at the last two listening parties for the as yet to be released album, Kim, played a starring role in the event at Soldier Field in Chicago, as she walked out in the stadium in a couture wedding gown.

As the final song of the night, No Child Left Behind, played, Kim walked out into the middle of the arena in a stunning Balenciaga Couture dress and veil, to join Kanye, who was dressed all in black leather.

Despite this, TMZ recently reported that they are definitely still separated and are instead ‘forever family’, noting that Kim simply remains supportive of her ex’s career.

His stalled upcoming album, Donda, is named after his mother, Donda West, who died at the age of 58 in 2007 from complications after cosmetic surgery.
