Hamilton Lane And Unifirst Corp Among Today’s Top Buys Following A Weak April Jobs Report

We saw a reversal back into the pandemic trade Friday morning. Although yesterday’s jobless claims tumbled below 500,000 for the first time since the start of the pandemic, the Labor Department revealed a shockingly disappointing April jobs report. They claimed that nonfarm payrolls increased by just 266,000 in April compared to the estimate of 1 million. The unemployment rate also rose to 6.1% compared to the estimated 5.8% due to a growing shortage of available workers. On this news, bond yields fell 5 basis points. Tech investors, however, cheered the news. While the Dow remained flat, the S&P rose 0.3%, and the Nasdaq
NDAQ
popped 0.8% and shattered its 5-day losing streak. For investors looking to find the best opportunities, the deep learning algorithms at Q.ai have crunched the data to give you a set of Top Buys. Our Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) systems assessed each firm on parameters of Technicals, Growth, Low Volatility Momentum, and Quality Value to find the best Top Buys.
